COVID-19 and the Stay at Home Orders
Effective March 23, 2020 – until lift of “Stay at Home Orders”.
In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, recent actions were taken by Governor DeWine, and in accordance with guidance from our local/state/federal leaders, Union Township has closed the following offices to the general public:
Roads and Services Office
Township Trustees Meetings will be held as usual. Any changes to the meeting schedule will be posted on the Township’s website.
Suspending all non-critical services until “Stay at Home Orders are lifted” such as Zoning Text/Map Change Requests & Zoning Variance/Conditional Use Permit Requests.
Prohibiting all vendors/salespeople to enter any township-owned buildings.
Vendors, delivering products needed to conduct normal business, are being asked to use designated drop-off points for deliveries.
Prohibiting all guests/visitors to enter any township-owned building. This does not include anyone seeking emergency services.
Increasing cleaning and sanitization protocols for the Road Garage buildings.
Closely monitoring the health and well-being of all employees and following all established health and safety protocols.
